Last year, the Indian Rocks Beach Executive Committee has reinvented the city’s Holiday Card Program. City organizations and businesses designed the 4 foot tall Christmas Cards that were installed around the city.
Each organization is designing and paying for their own. The Boat Club’s card was designed and painted by members Linda Newton and Larry Gerwig. Look for it in front of the Indian Rocks Post Office.
The Club held their Fall Intracoastal cleanup in October. With our recent storms, there was quite a bit of trash on our islands and once again we filled a dumpster.
Thank you to everyone that showed up to help.
We held our Tenth Annual End of the Summer Island Party on Party Island in the Intracoastal at the North End of Indian Rocks Beach.

“Kids Clean Up After Others”
The June/July 2015 Issue of Boat U.S. has a small article on page 10 about the IRB Boat Club’s March Waterway Cleanup. It story features club member Rod Baker and his crew of kids after the March 21st cleanup. Rod and his family have participated in almost all of the clean ups dating back to October 2008. Great job!
Thank you Rob and crew plus all the members that volunteer and help keep our waters clean!
